Class A Basic
Our Basic package is a 3 week long class. The class is 160 hours total. This is the average length across the country. However, at Kingdom Trucking Academy we condense it to 3 weeks instead of the 4 week standard. Course covers, pre-trip, skills maneuvers, road training, log class, coupling and un-coupling. This class covers the much needed alley-dock training. Students will test at the completion of the class. Contact us for more information.

Advanced
Our Advanced class is a 2 week long class. It is the same information just at a much faster paced. This class is designed for people wanting to get out on the road much sooner. It is a fast paced class that requires self discipline. But with hard work comes great reward. You are 2 weeks away from changing your life. This class will cover the essentials. Pre-trip, skills maneuvers, road training, coupling and un-coupling wrapped in 120 hours of training.

Elite
The Elite class is designed for people with a good understanding of the course material before they sign up. If you have experience already backing up trailers, driving larger trucks and are mechanically inclined, then this class is perfect for you. The class is 5 days in length. It covers pre-trip, skills, road training. With the KDP video package, it packs 80 hours of training into a short time frame. It takes a hard working and driven person to take on this class. Rest assured our program is top notch and will get you closer to your dreams.

Class B
Our Class B class is like it's axles, straight. This is a 5 day class, half the information you will need to pass a Class A class. If you can drive a car you can drive a Class B vehicle.

Passenger
The Passenger Endorsement requires you to take the CDL Exam using a Passenger vehicle. It is a 5 day class. This class is for contract classes only.
CDL Enrollment Requirements for CDL Licensing
At Kingdom Trucking Academy, it is our job to provide you with CDL training to obtain your Class A CDL. We also want to make sure we provide you the best opportunity for success in the trucking industry. Our staff will discuss with you all the details of the truck driving industry along with training you to operate a commercial truck.
In order for us to ensure your success we need to determine a student’s ability to benefit for our CDL training program. We need to make sure this is the right career path for you. Will you be able to get employment? We will help provide job placement if needed for every student that attends our Kansas City-area training center to obtain a CDL License. In order to qualify for one of our CDL courses, you must meet our CDL requirements for enrollment.
Requirements for Training Enrollment
Must be 21 years or older.
Need to have been licensed for the past three years within the United States and possess a valid operator license from your home state.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language as per F.M.C.S.R.
Must be able to understand highway and traffic signs and signals.
Must be able to make entries on reports and records.
Must be a lawful permanent residence of the United States or have a current valid VISA or work permit to work in the United States.
Must have an original certified copy of a birth certificate to get a permit from DMV.
Must obtain a seven-year MVR with no convictions of any of the following: DUI, hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, or careless/ reckless driving.
No DUI in the past in the past 7 years without getting a pre-hire letter from a carrier first.
All students will be required to take and pass a DOT physical and drug test (per 391.43: Physical qualifications for drivers) prior to enrollment.
